So ya! DO NOT MENTION THIS ON RSOF. OR YOU WILL BE BANNED just like I was. I would have a.GIF that RuneScape gold said "Don’t attempt this with RSOF Kids!" Jagex has now reduced the cost of alch for nature runes to below the 70GP mark. You can tell by my image in Other RS Media, some players in the game became quite angry when they found out. It is possible to sell them for 3gp prior to today's secret update. All other runes now come with a lower price for alch.
Many of us made threads in Recent Updates, asking what the reason was and how Fmods kept them hidden with the reasoning of "This forum is for updates that are listed on the main page" Which is total bs since it is an update that was recently released What else could you call it? What are your thoughts? Here is my view: Although Jagex sees the necessity to update the nature rane, it's not enough to solve the problem. This sets an awful precedent for future updates.
The first 200M magical exp can be worth more than 3,000,000 alchs. A player who clicks their mouse that many times deserves to earn 2gp for each alch. This isn't the issue. But that's beside the point. Simply the supply outweighed demand. What is the reason? It was a stable market when there were only legitimate players, however, bots have now overrun the market. The same reasons that CAUSED the current epidemic will see the alch value increase in the coming few months. What happens next? Lower the alch value again?
If the status quo remained in place, the market would have been MORE stable, simply because they'd be alched thus doubling the demand, one would have to cast the spell and one to alch as oppesef to one person to cast the spell and the second item to alch.
It was part of the reasoning of "It's an adverse impact on yew shortbows, etc" If those DID drop, they'd be just as popular for alching as it could be for profit and players would have a variety to choose to buy old school runescape gold maximize their profit by a few Gp.
